December 07, 2011 - Create-A-Card for Christmas
From 4:15 p.m-5 p.m., Dec. 14, Brandon Township Public Library, 304 South St., will host a free Create -A-Card for Christmas program for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Students will create two Christmas cards with a variety of decorative stamps and other accessories. Register in person, or by phone 248-627-1462, or at

Goodrich Lions Christmas trees
From 2:30 p.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday and noon- 6 p.m. Sunday, the Goodrich Lions Club, 9196 S. State Road, will be selling Christmas trees.
Citizen office closed
From 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Dec. 15, The Citizen office will be closed for the annual office Christmas party.
