At 9 a.m., Feb. 24, The Citizen newspaper staff hosts a coffee hour a The Citizen office, 12 South St. Come join us for treats and conversation. Donations for the Ortonville Community Emergency Fund are accepted. Details: 248-627-4332

Booking it 5k Walk/Run

On May 12, the Brandon Township Public Library, 304 South St., Ortonville, will host the "Booking It" 5k walk-run fundraiser. The fundraiser will also include the one mile "Dewey Decimal Dash" for children and families. The proceeds will benefit library programs and materials. Organizations that would like to sponsor the event are encouraged to call 248-627-1460.

Prescription drug drop-off

From 9 a.m.- 3 p.m., Feb. 25 at the Atlas Township office, 7386 Gale Road, the Office of the Genesee County Sheriff, Robert J. Pickell, will host a prescription drug drop-off. The office will be collecting unwanted and expired prescription and over-the-counter medications. The goal of the program is to dispose of medications safely and environmentally correct and eliminating the availability of these drugs to youth. A second drop-off will be 9 a.m.-3 p.m. March 12.

'My Fair Lady'

Brandon High School will present the musical, "My Fair Lady" on Feb. 23, 24 and 25. Tickets at the door or in the BHS lobby; from 4-6 p.m, Feb. 14-17, 21 and 22. Early bird performance at 5 p.m., Feb. 23, tickets $8. Performances begin at 7 p.m., Feb. 24 and 25, tickets $10. Details: Jody Yettaw, 248-766-1289.
