August 15, 2012 - The retailers' application to amend the city's ordinance on internally illuminated signs was moved forward after the Planning Commission meeting on August 8. The retailers seek an amendment to the ordinance that would allow a lit "open sign" in their shop windows. "There are still some comments and questions," said City Council and Planning Commission Member Mike Sabol. Interested residents will be invited to share their views during a public hearing Councilman Sabol says will likely take place next month.
