September 05, 2012 - Local businesses generously supported The Clarkston News' Memorial Day remembrance and Fourth of July Celebrating America features. Proceeds were donated to Clarkston's American Legion Post 63 and American Legion Post 377 to help local veterans.
"Thank you – you guys do a lot for us," said Commander Keith Marbut, Post 63.
Post 377 will use the funds to provide returning veterans with a week off up north, and other programs, said Commander Bob Logan.
