March 20, 2013 - Put on your dancing shoes!
The Oxford edition of "So, you think you can dance!" is coming to the high school's Fine Arts Center (745 N. Oxford Rd.) on Tuesday, April 16 at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the show are $3.
The OHS Class of 2015 is hosting his dance showcase/competition. All K-12 students are invited to audition.
Those interested in participating are asked to e-mail a video of their dance routine to email@example.com.
Dancers selected to perform in the show will be contacted by March 27.
The winner will be determined by judges and the audience.
Time to decorate those Easter cookies
Downtown Oxford's Sweet & Savory Bake Shop invites parents and grandparents to bring their little ones to the 9 S. Washington St. store on Saturday, March 23, so they can decorate some yummy Easter cookies. The event is free of charge and will take place between 12 noon and 3 p.m.
Monetary donations will be accepted to once again help the bakery purchase cuddly Teddy bears for local police officers and firefighters to hand out to children involved in car accidents, house fires, domestic abuse situations, etc.
The one and only Easter Bunny will be on hand to visit with the kids, help them decorate and pose for photographs.
Easter egg hunt at Christ the King
Christ the King Church (1150 W. Drahner Rd.) in Oxford Township is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23 at 10 a.m.

American Legion to host gun show
A gun show will be held at Oxford American Legion Post 108 (130 E. Drahner Rd.) on Saturday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for teens (13-18) and free for kids under 12.
All proceeds go to the American Legion and AMVETS organizations. Food will be available beginning at 11 a.m.

Vendors who wish to participate can do so at a cost of $10 for each six-foot table they require. Set-up is from 7-9 a.m.
