August 28, 2013 - High school football season kicks off Friday night at 7 p.m. on the famous blue turf as the Oxford Wildcats take on their archrivals, the dreaded Lake Orion Dragons.

But before you start raucously cheering for Coach Bud Rowley and the home team, get the inside scoop on the Wildcats, along with the Dragons, Wolves and Blackhawks, in our annual Gridiron section included with this issue.
