October 16, 2013 - A total of 56 golfers hit the links Saturday at the Oxford Hills Golf & Country Club as part of John & Virginia Hubbard's Fall One Club Scramble.

One team emerged victorious in this outing that allowed each golfer to use only one club for nine holes of play.

Shooting a 3-under-par 33 was the team of Oakland resident Larry Pinchback (7-iron), Metamora resident Chris Bonfiglio (9-iron), Oxford resident Rev. Bob Holt (5-hybrid) and Terry Paddubny (driver), of Oxford. The event netted about $1,000 for the Rotary Club of Oxford's scholarship fund.
