October 30, 2013 - + Install center left-turn lanes at East St. so southbound M-24 traffic can turn onto East St. and northbound M-24 traffic can access downtown's northwest quadrant.
+ Install a crosswalk along the south side of where East St. and M-24 intersect.
+ About mid-block between East and Burdick streets construct a raised median separating northbound and southbound M-24 with a crosswalk running through it.
+ Lengthen existing center left-turn lane for southbound and northbound vehicles turning onto Burdick St.
+ About mid-block between Burdick and Stanton/Dennison streets install a crosswalk and construct a raised median that extends south to Stanton/Dennison St. The median would prohibit left-turns into the parking lot next to Lili's Diner, which would be converted from an entrance to an exit.
+ The five on-street parking spaces in front of Centennial Park would be eliminated due to safety concerns. About three on-street spaces could be added between Casa Real and the Ox Bar & Grille to make up for it.
+ Install a traffic signal at the M-24/Stanton/Dennison intersection and add crosswalks on the north and south sides of the intersection.
+ Add a center left-turn lane to allow northbound M-24 traffic to turn onto Dennison St.
+ Left-turns onto Mechanic St. from northbound M-24 would be prohibited.
+ Add a center left-turn lane for southbound M-24 traffic to turn onto Broadway St. The concept plan calls for the Oxford Bank driveway closest to Broadway to be closed. Village Manager Joe Young said the bank's been asked to consider closing all three of its M-24 driveways and have traffic access it via Broadway St.
+ Create a right-turn-only lane for northbound M-24 traffic to access Broadway St.
+ Create crosswalks north and south of the M-24/Broadway St. intersection.
+ Construct a raised median beginning near Broadway St. and continuing to just north of Ensley St.
+ Add a center left-turn lane at Ensley St. for northbound and southbound M-24 traffic.
+ Add a center left-turn lane that extends from Ensley to just north of Crawford St.
+ Construct a raised median from just north of Crawford St. to Crawford St.
+ Add a center left-turn lane which allows northbound M-24 traffic to turn onto Crawford St.
+ Construct a raised median in the middle of the block between Crawford and Lincoln streets.
+ Add a center left-turn lane and a right-turn-only lane where M-24 will intersect with the proposed one-way entrance (just north of Lincoln St.) to the new East (or Edison) Alley, which is currently in the design phase. The concept plan also calls for a traffic signal at M-24/East Alley intersection.
+ Install a traffic signal at Lincoln St.
+ Add a center left-turn lane allowing northbound M-24 traffic to turn onto Lincoln St.
+ Add a center left-turn lane that extends from Lincoln St. south to the village limits where it will merge with the existing left-turn lane by Minnetonka Dr.
+ Install a traffic signal at Minnetonka Dr.
