December 04, 2013 - Head to Leonard for the tree lighting

Looking for a touch of Norman Rockwell amidst the endless commercialization this Christmas season?

Then head to downtown Leonard on Saturday, Dec. 7 for the town's annual tree lighting ceremony at 7:30 p.m.

After lighting the tree outside historic Rowland Hall (23 E. Elmwood St.), attendees are invited to sing Christmas carols, enjoy a story for the kids and partake of a delightful assortment of hot beverages and holiday sweets.

It's an old-fashioned Christmas event.

No glitz. No marketing. No sales.

Just family, joy and warmth.
