December 18, 2013 - Bitter cold and blowing snow didn't deter veterans, scouts and citizens from gathering at Ridgelawn Memorial Cemetery in Oxford Saturday to honor the 200-plus veterans buried there with Christmas wreaths.

The event was part of the annual Wreaths Across America program that takes place at cemeteries across the nation every December.
Christmas wreaths were placed beside the grave of each veteran to show that although they're no longer with us, they're not forgotten, especially during the holiday season.
