Ortonville Chamber—2014 Business Expo

April 23, 2014 - Mark your calendars now for the 2014 Business Expo, set for 5-8 p.m., May 8, at the Brandon High School cafeteria, 1025 S. Ortonville Road.

The public is invited to attend the family-friendly event sponsored by The Citizen newspaper and coordinated by the Greater Ortonville Area Chamber of Commerce. Admission is free and activities for kids include facepainting, a clown, and a bouncehouse (weather permitting). Free samples, product give-aways, door prizes and a $100 gift card drawing add to the fun for everyone.

The purpose of the expo is to acquaint local residents with businesses in the area.

"This is a great opportunity to meet the local businesses—see new products and services while networking," said Tonia Seling, expo chairperson and owner of Paramount Signs + Graphix, 1695 S. Ortonville Road. "Maybe you will find a business you didn't even know was in the area."

Currently tables are available at $100 each and $175 for two tables.

"The tables are going fast—in past years more than 500 people visited the expo at the high school," she said. "We have vendors from Clarkston, Grand Blanc, Goodrich and Fenton, along with Ortonville. From financial companies to website design to toys—the expo is the place to be for any area business."

Proceeds from the event will fund the Greater Ortonville Area Chamber of Commerce scholarship program for Brandon High School seniors.

The deadline for vendors is Friday, May 2.
