Renaissance High honored

May 07, 2014 - Years of work by students and staff at Renaissance High School to incorporate an environmental focus into everything they do received national notice – a Green Ribbon School certification from the U.S. Department of Education.

"I think it's really cool – I'm proud of the work we've done because I really think this is something we need to focus on," said Billie Pambid, school director.

"I think it is outstanding," said Superintendent Dr. Rod Rock. "This affects students and curricula. It shows tremendous leadership from Billie Pambid, Wes Goodman, and Jessica Kimmel. It shows how smart this community is to invest in its facilities...."
