PUBLIC NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ESTABLISHMENT OF SANITARY SEWAGE DISPOSAL RATES
At its Regular Meeting on December 12, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. the Lake Orion Village Council will hold a Public Hearing, prior to establishing amended sewage disposal rates. The Public Hearing will be held in the Council Room of the Village Hall, 37 E. Flint Street, Lake Orion, MI 48362 and will be held pursuant to the provisions of the Village of Lake Orion Ordinances No. 23.24 and 23.25, Chapter 51: Sewage Disposal System, Section 51.28 Sewer Disposal Service Charges, Items (A) (1) of the Code of Ordinances.
The proposed rate change is in response to increased charges for Sewage Disposal Services which are being charged by the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department, with last increase effective July 1, 2011. The proposed rates, if adopted, will be effective for service rendered on and after January 1, 2012, and are as follows:
USAGE CHARGES
Usage charges for sewage disposal services to each premise with metered water in the area served by laterals shall be as follows:

Usage charges for sewage disposal services to each premise with unmetered water in the area served by laterals shall be as follows:
Single Family $150.00 per dwelling per quarter
All Other Premises $200.00 per quarter
Usage charges for industrial surcharges and industrial waste control charges shall be as follows:
INDUSTRIAL SURCHARGE
The following Industrial Surcharges shall be levied against industrial and commercial customers contributing sewage to the system with concentrations of pollutants exceeding the levels described as follows:
