PUBLIC NUISANCE ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 6
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a council meeting on August 13, 2012, the Village Council of the Village of Leonard adopted an Amendment to Ordinance No. 6, the Public Nuisance Ordinance, which amends the Penalty Section, Section 6.06, to provide that a violation of the Ordinance shall be a municipal civil infraction and provides penalties therefore. A synopsis of the Ordinance follows:

SECTION 1 - AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE
Section 6.06 Penalty
A. Civil Fines.
B. Injunction.
C. Continuing Offense.
D. Remedies Not Exclusive.
E. Judge or Magistrate.
F. Default on Payment of Fines and Costs.
G. Failure to Comply With Judgment or Order.
H. Failure to Appear in Court.
I. Civil Contempt.
SECTION 2 – SEVERABILITY
SECTION 3 - SAVINGS CLAUSE
SECTION 4 - EFFECTIVE DATE
SECTION 5 – ADOPTION
