Of the Regular Meeting of the Charter Township of Oxford Board of Trustees held on October 10, 2012 at the Oxford Veterans Memorial Civic Center.

PRESENT: Trustee Bellairs, Trustee Cryderman, Supervisor Dunn, Trustee Spisz, Treasurer Ferrari, Clerk Wright.

ABSENT: Trustee Bunting.

The following actions were taken:

Approved the agenda as presented.

Approved the Consent Agenda as amended.

Opened the Public Hearing to discuss the establishment of the Squaw Lake Canal Special Assessment District.

Closed the Public Hearing to discuss the establishment fo the Squaw Lake Canal Special Assessment District.

Adopted Ord. No. 67A.008, An Amendment to Ordinance No. 67A, adding a new section 9.8(M) Projecting Signs.

Authorized Fire Chief Scholz to issue a purchase order for the purchase of an ambulance from Lifeline Emergency Vehicles in the amount of $161,497.00.

Approved the Resolution to establish the Squaw Lake Canal Special Assessment District as presented.

Recommended to John McCulloch, Water Resources Commissioner, that Oxford Township supports the blended cost allocation of 50% Future Purchase Capacity/50% Current Average Flow; for a total payment of 3.65%.

Authorized the waiver of the bidding process requirement and entered into a five (5) year contract with B.A.M. Landscape and Lawn Care commencing January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2017 to provide cemetery maintenance at all Township owned cemeteries.

Aproved the proposal from B.A.M. Landscape and Lawn Care to complete the repair of a retaining wall in the Oxford Cemetery on the north side of Burdick Street at an amount not to exceed $4,800.00.

Directed the Planning Commission to discuss simplifying the Animal Unit Equivalency charter located in Zoning Ord. 67A, Section 6.24 and make a recommendation regarding its improvement.

Directed the Planning Commission to investigate the potential of allowing Section 2.4 criteria to be permitted on all parcels larger than 2.5 acres within the Township of Oxford.

Authorized Supervisor Dunn to apply for the 2013 Annual Permit for Work on Trunkline Right-of-Way and to approve the Performance Resolution for Governmental Agencies.

Approved an amount not to exceed $5,000.00 for upgrades to be completed by New World Systems to the Oxford Township computer server.

Extended the Resolution for a period of one (1) year or such shorter or longer period of time as determined by the Township imposing a moratorium on all applications which concern the development of a medical marijuana facility in Oxford Township.

Approved the 2012 Delinquent Water Resolution as presented.

Approved the 2012 Delinquent Road Paving and Oxford Multi-Lake Levels Resolution as presented.

Approved the 2012 Delinquent Drains and Lake Levels Resolution as presented.

Approved the 2012 Delinquent Indianwood Lake Level Resolution as presented.

Set the Halloween Trick-or-Treat hours for Oxford Township from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm on Wednesday, October 31, 2012.

Approved the Regular Bills through October 5, 2012 as presented.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:32 pm.
