Of the Regular Meeting of the Charter Township of Oxford Board of Trustees held on March 13, 2013 at the Oxford Veterans Memorial Civic Center.
PRESENT: Trustee Bellairs, Trustee Cryderman, Trustee Curtis, Trustee Durr, Treasurer Ferrari, and Clerk Wright.
ABSENT: Supervisor Dunn.
The following actions were taken:
Appointed Treasurer Ferrari as Acting Chairman in the absence of Supervisor Dunn.
Approved the agenda as presented.
Approved the Consent Agenda as presented.
Opened the Public Hearing regarding whether to establish a Special Assessment District for the eradication and control of aquatic weeds in the Squaw Lake Canal.
Closed the Public Hearing regarding whether to establish a Special Assessment District for the eradication and control of aquatic weeds in the Squaw Lake Canal.
Adopted Ord. 107A.005, an Ordinance to amend Section 62-85 Temporary Shut-off of Service of the Oxford Charter Township Code of Ordinances.
Directed Treasurer Ferrari to attend the next Firefighters Union Labor Agreement negotiation meeting in the absence of Trustee Curtis.
Approved Resolution No. 5, Approval of Special Assessment Roll for Squaw Lake Canal Special Assessment District and the Special Assessment Roll attached as Exhibit 1 to Resolution No. 5, to implement an Aquatic Weed Control Special Assessment District program for Squaw Lake Canal.
Awarded the safety path project on Seymour Lake Road from Fountain View Lane to Waterstone Drive and to award the safety path project on East Drahner Road from Lapeer Road (M-24) to Oxford Lake Drive to Pro-Line Asphalt at the base bid amount of $161,620.50 for both projects. Final payment will be based on prices quoted in the bid Form and final field measurements.
Appointed Supervisor Dunn to coordinate the Enbridge Grant and to provide options for the Township Board to consider at its May 8, 2013 Township Board meeting.
Authorized proceeding with the road improvements at Brookfield Drive and Seymour Lake Road for all construction, designing and planning. It is understood that a majority of this project will be funded through the Oakland County Tri-Party Program.
