SYNOPSIS

Of the Regular Meeting of the Charter Township of Oxford Board of Trustees held on May 8, 2013 at the Oxford Veterans Memorial Civic Center.

PRESENT: Supervisor Dunn, Clerk Wright, Treasurer Ferrari, Trustee Bellairs, Trustee Cryderman, Trustee Curtis, Trustee Durr.

ABSENT: None.

The following actions were taken:

Approved the agenda as amended.

Approved the Consent Agenda as presented.

Adopted an amendment to Section 3.5(L) General Commercial to Article 3 of the Oxford Charter Township Zoning Ordinance 67A, and an amendment to Section 5.11 Commercial Indoor Recreation to Article 5 of the Oxford Township Zoning Ordinance 67A.

Adopted the contract related to the 2013 Seymour Celebration fireworks display as presented.

Authorized the purchase of a backup generator with a 200 amp switch for the Wildcat Water tower utilizing remaining Fire Department grant monies and the balance to come from the Oxford Township Water Fund.

Authorized Supervisor Dunn to sign the completed grant application for Enbridge Energy Line 6B and Line 79 Enviornmental Stewardship Grant Program for the purpose of improvements to Oxford Township Parks & Recreation as identified by Ron Davis, Parks & Recreation Director, before the December 31, 2013 deadline.

Approved the Perry Street Diversion Project Resolution for the Clinton-Oakland Sewage Disposal System as presented and authorized Supervisor Dunn and Clerk Wright to execute the Perry Street Diversion Project contract on behalf of the Charter Township of Oxford.

Approved the 2013 Inter-Municipal Contract Resolution for the Clinton-Oakland Sewage Disposal System as presented and authorize Supervisor Dunn and Clerk Wright to execute the 2013 Inter-Municipal Contract on behalf of the Charter Township of Oxford.

Adopted the Resolution for Oakland County One Stop Ready Program.

Authorized the increase of the application fee from $500.00 to $1,500.00 to pay for all direct and indirect costs associated with establishing a Special Assessment District, and this fee shall function as a Trust & Agency account.

Authorized Treasurer Ferrari to execute the Agreement for Oxford Village Tax BS&A postings as presented and attach the formal agreement as an appendix to the minutes.

Authorized the donation of the 2004 Saturn Vue, owned by the Charter Township of Oxford, to Oxford Public Schools' auto repair classes and should they deem it not useable, to offer it to Lake Orion Public Schools. If neither school wants the vehicle, it will be sold and the monies put into the General Fund.
