Called meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
All Members present.
Invocation, Father Mike Vershaeve, St. Joseph Church. All rose for the Pledge of Allegiance.
Supervisor Barnett read America Recycles Day 2013 Proclamation.
Jim Stevens, OHM was honored for his appointment to the State of Michigan Board of Professional Engineers.
Approved payment of bills in the amount of $2,604,217.81 and payrolls of $73,936.03. Total disbursement of funds of $2,678,153.84.
Approved Agenda, as amended.
Approved Consent Agenda, as presented.
Approved Minutes, Budget Work Session, Monday, October 21, 2013.
Approved Minutes, Regular Meeting, Monday, October 21, 2013.
Awarded Bid: Gator Utility Vehicle to David Ostertag in the amount of $1,251.00.
Waived Building Permit Fees for 2349 Browning.
Amended Building Official Job Description.
Amended DWSD Water Service Contract.
Authorized Clerk to apply for the Polling Place Accessibility Grant
Held first reading for Amendments to Ordinance 132 and directed the Clerk to publish for second reading at the December 2, 2013 Board meeting and possible adoption.
Adopted Resolutions and authorized OHM to prepare necessary documentation to apply for MDEQ SAW Grants for Township Stormwater and Sanitary Sewer projects.
Authorized OHM to proceed with cost estimates regarding potential 2014 Tri-Party Road Improvement Projects.
Received and Filed Report regarding gravel road paving plan.
Scheduled Budget Work Sessions for 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 18 and 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2013.
Authorized Treasurer to decline transfer of property ownership from Oakland County to Orion Township for tax foreclosed properties.
Held Executive Closed Session to discuss Pending Litigation Update & Legal Opinion Letter.
Authorized the Supervisor and Attorney to proceed as discussed in Closed Executive Session.
