Held Public Hearing: SSH & SSH #1 Private Road Maintenance SAD #2 - Cost Estimate and

Supervisor Barnett delivered National Police Week and Police Officers Memorial Day
Recognized Lake Orion High School teachers Derik Delzer and Dave Whitaker for their efforts to save a student from drowning.
Recognized 2014 NO HAZ Poster Contest Winner Maria Paveglio.
Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee Update presented by Joan Rolwing.
Approved payment of bills in the amount of $1,125,272.18 and payrolls of $81,498.56. Total disbursement of funds of $1,206,770.74.

Approved Consent Agenda, as amended.
Approved Minutes, Regular Meeting, Monday, April 21, 2014.
Reappointed Ralph Painter and Lucy Koscierzynski to the Cable Commission, terms expire
June 30, 2016.
Authorize the Supervisor to proceed with cost estimates for Mill Lake Gardens Chloride
Authorized DPW to purchase Booster Pumps from DuBois-Cooper Associates for $154,700.
Awarded Klais Road Watermain Project bid to Superior Excavating, Inc. in the amount not to
Adopted Orion Commons PUD Agreement, as presented.
Approved Peddler/Solicitor License Application for David Peters' to sell ice-cream from a truck.
Approved Lake Orion Youth Baseball League License Agreement for Use of McConnell Park.
Held Skate Park Discussion.
Adopted SSH & SSH #1 Private Road Maintenance SAD #2 Resolution, as presented.
Adopted Square Lake Water Quality Control (Lake Level - Electric Fees) SAD #3 Resolution, as presented.
Adopted the new standard Entertainers/Performers Agreement, as presented.
Removed Sale of Property item from regular agenda.
Trustee Porter recused himself from voting on sale of property resolution for Peters Street.
Adopted the Resolution authorizing the sale of Township property located at 011 Peters Street,
Orion Township, Tax Parcel Nos. 09-29-277-011 and 09-29-278-002.
Approved Outdoor Assembly License Application: Orion Oscars, with conditions.
Approved Ord. 76 Special Service Permit Application: Orion Oscars, with conditions.
Authorized hiring Patricia Charette as part-time Programmer, at $15.22 per hour.
Approved the purchase of a 2014 GMC Pickup for $24,864 from Red Holman GMC.
Adopted new job description for Parks Director, Aaron Whatley, a non-union position with an
annual salary of $52,000 plus benefits, effective May 15, 2014, and make necessary
Tabled action regarding Treasurer's Summary.
Received and filed Planning Commission and ZBA Annual Reports, as presented.
Closed Executive Session was held to Discuss Attorney Opinion Letter & Purchase of Property.
Authorized Supervisor and Attorney to proceed as discussed regarding Galaxy Way property.
