March 13, 2013 - Oxford Elementary School fourth-graders visited the Northeast Oakland Historical Museum (1 N. Washington St.) last week.

Students learned all about Oxford's history, industries and early residents.

They also got a pretty good idea of how people lived, worked and played in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

CJ Carnacchio is editor for The Oxford Leader. He lives in the Village of Oxford with his wife Connie and daughter Larissa. When he's not busy working on the newspaper, he enjoys cigars/pipes, Martinis/Scotch, hunting and fishing.
