July 02, 2014 - The next generation of Thomas Edisons was cultivated in Oxford last week as Camp Invention returned to Clear Lake Elementary.

During the week-long enrichment program, participants learned valuable problem-solving and teamwork skills while enhancing their knowledge of science and math.

When this reporter dropped by on Thursday, the kids were building lightweight vehicles, inspired by at least five living organisms, that could travel on land, in the air and underwater.

No making leather wallets at this summer camp.
