Rain poured and soaked the Lake Orion varsity boys’ soccer playoff run early, as the team lost to Grand Blanc, 4-0, during the first round of the 2011 state tournament. The Bob Cats scored just 34 seconds into the contest, held a 3-0 lead at halftime and thwarted the Dragons from mounting any sustained pressure during the game. Lake Orion finished the season 6-12-3.
