Wolfpack Update

January 09, 2013 - The Lady Wolves came back from holiday break to beat Sterling Heights Stevenson, 61-23.

Erika Davenport led the team with 15 points and 16 rebounds and Jessica Altene added seven points and had seven rebounds in the game.

The girls head to Southfield-Lathrup this Friday, 7 p.m.

Icers got the new year started with a 2-point lead against OAA opponents Farmington on Saturday.

Adam Johns and Alex Tanielian scored the goals in the first period for the Clarkston Varsity Hockey team and by the second period Farmington had tied the game.

Farmington won the game with a goals scored 4:44 in the overtime period, 3-2. Jack Viazanko made 30 saves in the net.

The Wolves beat Rochester Unified on Dec. 21, 6-4.

A.J. Kowal opened the scoring with a goal, and Rochester Unified answered with three goals in a span of two minutes. Roman Reiner, Kyle Hogarth and Jacob LaPorte brought the Wolves back up and into a 4-3 lead.

Garrett Polish and Joe Smith scored in the third period to secure the win.

Nick Surovec had 25 saves in the game.

The boys are 4-9, 1-3-1 in the OAA.

They head to Holland's Edge Arena to take on Grand Haven this Saturday, 1 p.m.

The Wolves are rolling in wins on the lanes for bowling. The boys varsity and JV teams posted three wins before break. The varsity team beat Lake Orion, 22-8, Holly, 27-3, and Troy, 19-11.

The JV team beat Lake Orion, 30-0, Holly, 24-6, and Troy, 28-2.

The girls varsity team had two wins - against Holly, 22-8, and Troy, 30-0. They lost to Lake Orion.
