May 22, 2013 - After a close game loss of 11-10 to Rochester Adams for the Lady Wildcats Lacrosse team on May 15, the ladies were able to turn it around and beat Farmington North Harrison with an 11-6 victory.

"Capitalizing on a highly efficient defense, Oxford achieved their first 10 win season," said Head Coach Andrew Bausack. "Abby Wrobel led the defensive effort with five ground balls, an interception, and a caused turnover. Kayce Calcaterra led the scoring with five goals. Four of them were made in the second half."

The girls will play in MHSAA Regionals on May 23 at the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Bloomfield Hills starting at 7 p.m.

Trevor graduated with degrees in English and communications from Rochester College. He wrote for his college and LA View newspapers before joining The Clarkston News in May 2007.
