November 06, 2013 - There's a dynasty in the making as the Oxford Jr. Wildcats Freshman Gold team won the Northern Youth Football League (NYFL) Super Bowl Saturday at Wildcat stadium.

The Jr. Cats beat Brandon in a tight 13-12 game, making it the first NYFL team to win back-to-back Super Bowl championships.

"I couldn't be more proud of these kids," said Coach Aaron Carpenter. "They worked hard each and every weekend. This was a total team effort. All 25 kids contributed in this great and perfect season."

Oxford was 10-0 going into the big game while Brandon was 9-1. These teams were the top two seeds for the league.
