Water use restrictions?

November 25, 2009 - An amended village ordinance could mean restricted lawn-watering times.
If Lake Orion Village Council passes it, residents with odd-numbered addresses will only be able to irrigate Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with even-numbered addresses Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Automatic irrigation systems will be allowed to run between midnight and 5 a.m.
Administrators recommend a change in village ordinances to mirror a change in township ordinances. Public hearing on the issue will be 7:30 p.m., Jan. 11, 2010.
