November 25, 2009 - Elizabeth Gray
Central Michigan University (CMU) junior Elizabeth Gray, of Lake Orion, competed in the NASCAR Kinetics: Marketing in Motion competition.
Gray, a graduate of Lake Orion Community High School, is the daughter of Jon and Becky Gray.
As a participant in the competition, Gray worked with a team of four of her fellow CMU students as they responded to a case study based upon everyday challenges facing NASCAR and its sponsors.
CMU will compete against five other universities, including Winston-Salem State University, University of Notre Dame, Coastal Carolina University, Howard University and Clark Atlanta University.
Stephanie Costigan
Stephanie Costigan, daughter of John and Rita Costigan, of Lake Orion, became a member of Phi Sigma Theta, a national honor society.
Stephanie attends Michigan State University.
The society is dedicated to recognizing and rewarding academic achievement in undergraduates.
