NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Please take notice, that the Village of Oxford Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on March 2, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. or soon thereafter in the Village Council Chambers, 22 W Burdick, Oxford Michigan 48371 for the purpose of amending Article 7, Section 7.1.8 Parking Reduction in the Central Business District of the Zoning Ordinance #324 to include,

This ordinance is not intended to nor does it restrict reasonable assessments by the Village of Oxford while considering appropriate credits to historical improvements paid for property owners to any of the four parking quadrants in the Village of Oxford.

And:

Upon the property owner of 40 N Washington being developed in the future, the property owner would be assessed based on the same formula as the original special assessment which funds would be reimbursed back to the original case assessment participants (not land arrangements).

A complete copy of the Amendments is available at the offices of the Village Clerk, 22 W Burdick, Oxford.

Anyone wishing to comment on the proposed amendments may do so in person during the Public Hearing or in writing by mail addressed to: Mr. Tom Schultz, Chairperson, Village of Oxford Planning Commission, PO Box 94, Oxford MI 48371.
