February 10, 2010 - Jim Watson, music pastor at First Baptist Church of Lake Orion and music teacher at Lake Orion Baptist School, became a human sundae Friday, Feb. 5. That day, students at Lake Orion Baptist School celebrated the final day of their Spirit Week with a pep rally. The pep rally was topped off by a fundraiser in which more than $200 was collected and will be sent to a sister school in Germany-Freie Christian School. Culvers of Lake Orion donated the toppings that the students purchased for a dollar a cup. Watson is a 1993 graduate of Lake Orion High School and was the director of the Classic Chorale, a ladies' community choir, for five years.
