A set of parents living in the 900 block of Ridge View Circle called police April 30 after a child reported a man in a small white car approached and inquired whether two boys on bikes were recently seen in the neighborhood. The man, described as 17-20 years old light growth on his face and a Detroit Tiger's baseball hat sitting crooked on his head, then asked if the child wanted to get in his car to help search for the boys.

A 19-year-old Lake Orion man was cited for marijuana possession after a deputy spotted him on the corner of Baldwin Road and Waldon about 2:30 a.m. April 30, stopped to investigate and discovered the man in possession of a pipe, scale, grinder and 1.3 ounces of marijuana.
A 48-year-old man living in the 600 block of Casemer was cited for disorderly person and reckless driving May 3 after damaging neighbor's property and causing a ruckus
A 22-year-old man was arrested and lodged at Oakland County Jail to await deportation May 4 after he was pulled over on a traffic violation near Brown and Jamm and a deputy discovered the man was in the country illegally.
A 71-year-old man living in the 1900 block of Hunter came to the substation to file a complaint, telling police every time he put an ornament out in his yard it was gone the next day.
Orion deputies were seeking a warrant for first-degree retail fraud after a 54-year-old Orion Township woman was caught May 5 attempting to steal 30 DVDs from a store in the 400 block of Lapeer Road.
A 19-year-old Waterford man and an 18-year-old Oxford woman were cited for possession of marijuana and minor in possession May 6 when deputies responding to complaints of a possible drunk driver pulled the duo over on Lapeer Road.
