Board of Zoning Appeals

A Regular Meeting of the Village of Lake Orion Board of Zoning Appeals will be held on THURSDAY, JUNE 3, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Lake Orion Village Hall, 37 E. Flint St., Lake Orion, MI 48362.

The following application for Zoning Ordinance variances will be considered:

Case No. A-10-03

Property Address: 403 N. North Shore (Putz)

Proposal: The applicant proposes to replace an existing 2 car garage with lean-to (approx. 26' x 19.6') with a 32' x 22' (704 sq. ft.) 3 car garage requiring three (3) variances from the Zoning Ordinance, as follows:

10.00 ft existing

15.25 ft proposed

1.25 ft variance requested

2. Side (West) Yard Setback

3.00 ft required

1.40 ft existing (to 6" overhang)

0.70 ft proposed (to 12" overhang)

2.30 ft variance requested

3. Street Line Setback

20.00 ft required

10.00 ft existing (to 6" overhang)-as scaled

9.50 ft proposed (to 12" overhang)-as scaled

10.50 ft variance requested as scaled
