In the second game, sophomore Hannah Rogers got her second victory of the year, giving up one hit while striking out three. The offense gave her all the support she needed, getting 15 runs on 11 hits.

The Wildcats traveled to Swartz Creek on Monday, May 16 and took the doubleheader, winning 10-1 in game one and 7-6 in game two.

Luxton threw a complete game in game one, striking out 10 while only giving up four hits. Sophomore Amanda Boyer went 2-4 with four RBI's and sophomore Cassie Edgemon was 2-4 with two RBIs.

Sophomore Alyssa Hurtado came up big in game two when she clubbed two home runs in Oxford's 7-6 victory.

Her first home run came in the first inning and gave Oxford a 3-2 lead. She came up again in the fifth inning with Oxford trailing 4-3 and she connected again with a two-run homer and gave Oxford a 5-4 lead.
