May 26, 2010 - On Monday, area officials gathered at Crossman Park in Ortonville for a ribbon cutting ceremony of the new pavilion. At a cost of $15,000, the 24-by36 structure completed earlier this spring by CNO builders of Clarkston is part of the capital improvements planned during the 2009-10 fiscal year. The pavilion, which encloses eight tables—seating for about 50, is open to the public at no charge on a first come first serve basis.

The facility was design by Ray Waters, HRC Engineering; Rick Dery, Rick Dery Designs; Matt Kassuba, Kassuba Enterprises; Portia Mahoney, Art of Life, and Cathy Moran, South Street Consignment.
