There will be a coffee hour at 9 a.m., Friday, June 25, at The Citizen 12 South St. Ortonville. The public is welcome to attend and check out the new Ortonville 411 website.

Chamber meeting
At noon, June 8, the Ortonville Chamber of Commerce will host a meeting at the Brandon Township Library. The Citizen Advertising Manager Jackie Nowicki will be speaking about Ortonville 411.com. Details: 248-627-8079.
Hotchkiss
From 1-5, June 11, the Brandon Township Library, 304 South St., will host a celebration to honor Fran Hotchkiss for 35 years of service. Hotchkiss, head of Youth Services, is the recipient of honors such as the 2004Michigan Children's Librarian of the Year, given by the Michigan Library Association.
Henley
From 4-7 p.m., June 17, the Ortonville Community Emergency Fund will host a celebration for Judy Henley, retiring OCEF food pantry director at the Brandon Township Library, 304 South St., in honor of her service to the community. The Cans for Christmas truck will be parked outside the library awaiting food donations.
