June 02, 2010 - New at The Citizen
Karen Koviak is new to The Citizen advertising staff. A long-time resident of Independence Township in Clarkston, Koviak is a graduate of the University of Michigan. She has been married 23 years to Ken Koviak and has two children, Scott and Kathleen, who are currently attending the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Koviak said she enjoys shopping, gardening and walking with her golden retriever. Koviak has extensive experience with several metro area advertising agencies.
Softball fundraiser
At noon, June 12 the Atlas Township Firefighters will play the Goodrich School Teachers in a softball game at the Reid Fields behind the bus garage near Erie Street, Goodrich. Food and refreshments will be available. Donations will go toward the Atlas Township Fire Department scholarship fund.
