At 8 a.m., June 15, District One Oakland County Commissioner candidate Beth Nuccio will host a meet and greet at Harvey's Restaurant, 39 N. Ortonville Road, Ortonville. The meeting is for the public to ask Nuccio questions, if they have any. There is no charge. Details:

Soccer tryouts
The Brandon Hawks Soccer Club is holding tryouts from June 15-18 at the Brandon Township Community Park, 1414 North Hadley Road. Boys U-9 to U-18 will be trying out on June 15 and 17 between 6 and 8 p.m. Girls U-9 and U-18 will be trying out on June 16 and 18 between 6 and 8 p.m. Players should attend both tryout dates and bring cleats, shin guards, a ball and a water bottle. There is no cost to attend tryouts. Details:
