TAKEN BY THE TOWNSHIP BOARD
THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF INDEPENDENCE
JUNE 8, 2010
1. The regular meeting of the Charter Township of Independence Board was called to order at 7:30 p.m., at the Independence Township Hall.
2. Roll Call: Present: VanderVeen, Lohmeier, Wallace, Rosso, Petterson, Carson
Absent: Wagner
3. Approved motion to appoint Mr. Rosso chair for this meeting
4. The Agenda was amended by adding item #9, Modification to Budget Process
5. Public Forum opened at 7:42 p.m. and closed at 7:44 p.m
6. Presentation by Mr. Daddow was postponed
7. Bev Shaver, Assessor, and Susan Hendricks, Finance, gave Revenue Projections for 2011-2013
8. Bev Shaver, Assessor, presented report on the Michigan Tax Tribunal Board of Review
9. Review of Assessing Department's Budget
10. Review of Library's Budget
11. Review of Water and Sewer Budgets
12. Update of Building Department projects by Dave Belcher
13. Update of Parks & Rec & Seniors projects by Kelly Hyer
14. Authorized posting of Senior Coordinator position
15. Discussion on Capital Improvement Plan.
16. Monthly Budget update by Susan Hendricks
17. Presentation on modification to Budget Process by Curt Carson
18. Statements and Correspondence
19. The regular meeting adjourned at 11:23 p.m.
