July 07, 2010 - Brandon Twp.- Treasurer's office employees discovered that a machine that folded and stuffed the summer 2010 tax statements had, on occasion, double-stuffed tax statements in individual envelopes.

It is believed the error was caught before more than a dozen envelopes were stuffed with two tax statements.

Treasurer Terry Beltramo asks anyone who does not have an escrow account with their mortgage company and has not yet received a tax statement to contact his office, as well as anyone who has received a statement that is not theirs. The treasurer can be reached at 248-627-2853 or return the statement to the treasurer's office at 395 Mill St.
