Construction on
hold for holiday

September 01, 2010 - Oakland County road and bridge construction projects will be suspended at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 3, for the Labor Day holiday.
Some lane closures will be also eliminated for the holiday. Work resumes after 6 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 7.
Road Commission for Oakland County will also prohibit heavy earth-moving equipment and other large contractor equipment requiring a permit on county roads duing the holiday.
