The Charter Township of Orion Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 7:05 p.m. in the lower level of the Orion Township Hall, 2525 Joslyn Road, Lake Orion, Michigan 48360, on the following matter:

PC-2010-12, Text Amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 78, Articles II & XXVII, Recreational Vehicles Storage; Providing for repeal of conflicting ordinances and portions thereof; and providing an effective date.

You may send correspondence regarding this case to the Orion Township Hall, addressed to the Planning Commission, or you may attend the public hearing to express your views and/or concerns.

A complete copy of the proposed text amendment is on file in the Building Department Office and the Clerk's Office and may be examined during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, until the date of the public hearing.

The Charter Township of Orion Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 immediately following the PC-2010-12 public hearing at 7:05 p.m. in the lower level of the Orion Township Hall, 2525 Joslyn Road, Lake Orion, Michigan 48360, on the following matter:

PC-2010-14, Chrysler Marshalling Center-Annex Conditional Rezoning, the Petitioner, Qual-Effic Services, Inc., is requesting to rezone a portion of the property located at 4300 Lapeer Road, Sidwell #09-35-300-028, from Industrial Park (IP) to General Business-2 (GB-2) with conditions. The request is to rezone 10.81 of the 31.34 acres.

If you are not able to attend, you may send correspondence to the Orion Township Hall, addressed to the Planning Commission, to express your concerns and comments. A copy of the proposed conditional rezoning request is on file in both the Building Department office and the Township Clerk's office and may be examined during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, until the date of the hearing.

The Charter Township of Orion Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 immediately following the PC-2010-14 public hearing, which will immediately follow the PC-2010-12 public hearing at 7:05 p.m. in the lower level of the Orion Township Hall, 2525 Joslyn Road, Lake Orion, Michigan 48360, on the following matter:

PC-2010-15, Orion Community Center Special Land Use, located on the east side of Joslyn Road, south of Clarkston Road, The proposed special land use is to allow a community center consisting of one building approximately 27,193 square feet, to be located within the Suburban Farms zoning district.

Sidwell #09-16-200-003. Applicant: Charter Township of Orion.
