To the qualified electors of the Township of Addison, County of Oakland, and State of Michigan:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN; that the Township of Addison, 1440 Rochester Rd. Leonard MI.48367 will be open:
Monday, October 4, 2010 from 8:30 am through 5:00 pm as the last day to register for the November 2, 2010 General Election.
FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECEIVING APPLICATIONS FOR THE REGISTRATION OF THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS IN SAID TOWNSHIP NOT ALREADY REGISTERED.
The November 2, 2010 General Election will be conducted in all voting precincts of the Township of Addison, for the purpose of electing candidates for the following offices:
State;
Governor and Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General,
Congressional Representative in Congress
Legislative State Senator
Legislative Representative in the State Legislature
State Boards Member of the State Board of Education, Regent of the University of Michigan, Trustee of Michigan State University, Governor of Wayne State University.
County: County Commissioner
Non-Partisan Offices:
Judicial: Justice of Supreme Court, Judge of Court of Appeals 2nd District, Incumbent Position, Judge of Circuit Court 6th Incumbent Position, Judge of Probate Court (Incumbent/Non-Incumbent Position) and Judge of District Court 52nd/3rd.
Local:
Village: Village Trustees.
Schools: Oxford School Board Member, Almont School Board Member, Romeo School Board Member.
College: Oakland Community College Board of Trustees.
Library: Library Board Director.
And for the purpose of voting on the following proposals:
State of Michigan
Proposal 10-1
A Proposal to convene a constitutional convention for the purpose of drafting a general revision of the State Constitution.
Proposal 10-2
A proposal to amend the State Constitution to prohibit certain felons from holding elective office and specified types of public employment positions.
School:
Almont Community Schools: Operating millage renewal proposition exempting principal residence and qualified Agricultural property.
Romeo Community Schools:
1. Tax Limitation Proposal- operating millage.
2. School Improvement Bond Proposition
