Pumpkin hunters search for clues hidden in pumpkins to solve a puzzle. Winners under age 16 can collect prizes.

The event is sponsored by the Huron Valley Optimist Club. For more information, go to www.huronvalleyoptimist.com or call Indian Springs Metropark at 248-625-6640.

"We're planning a community wide gathering for residents of the Huron Valley, just like they did in times past, when time went a little slower and neighbors come together to visit," said Linda Erlich, Pumpkin Hunt chairperson. "We're hoping our friends and neighbors throughout the Huron Valley come out to enjoy this beautiful park."

Vehicle entry permits are $25 annually for regular admission, $15 annually for seniors, or $5 daily.
