Vaccine clinc
From 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Sept 19, there will be a low cost animal vaccine clinic at Pet Supplies "Plus," 22 N. Ortonville Road. The rabies vaccine is $10, the distemper vaccine is $12, and the heartworm vaccine is $25. This event is sponsored by Vet Ex, Mobile Veterinary Services. Details: 248-627-7900.

Midland Fusion Invitational Tournament
The U14 Girls Travel Soccer team competed in the Midland Fusion Invitational Tournament Aug 28-29. The Lady Blackhawks went into Sunday's championship game undefeated, not allowing a goal in the three previous games, only to lose 1-0 on a penalty kick to the hometown team the Midland Fusion. The girls are part of the Brandon Hawks Soccer Club in which they play MYSL Premier Division.
