SYNOPSIS, REGULAR MEETING MONDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2010

Called meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

All Members present except Porter and Shults.

Pledge, Supervisor Matthew Gibb. Invocation, Pastor Steve Sanders, Lake Orion First Baptist Church.

Approved payment of bills in the amount of $503,431.23 and payrolls of $83,267.35.

Total disbursement of funds of $586,698.58.

Approved Agenda, as amended. Approved Consent Agenda, as presented.

Set Halloween Trick or Treating hours for Sunday, October 31, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Approved request to Use Township Property (Fire Station #1): DDA Halloween Extravaganza Event on Saturday, October 23, 2010.

Scheduled CDBG Public Hearing for Monday, November 1, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

Set Budget Work Session for Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

Authorized payment of $175,000 in Lieu of Safety Path construction for Waste Management.

Authorized transfer of $950,000 from Host Fee Fund to General Capital Improvement Fund, restricted for Orion Community Senior Center and authorized payment to the Cummins Group in the amount of $73,128.15 for Architectural Services for the Orion Community Senior Center.

Referred Home-Based Business Zoning to a sub-committee for further study with a report to the Board by November 15, 2010.
