October 06, 2010 - Spiker remain undefeated in league play after their wins over Troy and Bloomfield Hills Lahser.

The Girls Varsity Volleyball team began the week against Troy on Sept. 28, winning 25-13, 25-15, 25-10.

Alexis Egler had four aces and 15 assists. Kaley Konjarevich had three kills.

They continued on Thursday to beat Lahser in three sets, 25-9, 25-13, 25-11, to lead the OAA Red, 5-0.

Allison Reis had ten kills and Maddie Lightfoot had 15 digs.

They lost the first round in the Marian Invitational on Saturday to Birmingham Seaholm.

They held a Quad tournament on Tuesday and head to Rochester High School next Monday.

JV plays at 5:30 p.m., varsity follows.

Sami Stelpflug led Clarkston during the Oakland County Girls Swimming and Diving Championships.

She finished in first place in the 200-yard IM event at 2:06.25, giving the girls a boost into fifth place with 114.5 points.

Stelpflug finished in second place in the 100-yard breaststroke event, finishing 1:05.09.

Kathryn Culver took third in the 100-yard freestyle, 53.78.

They head to Ferndale High School on Thursday.

The Girls Varsity Golf team lost this week to Troy, 159-184.

Betty Pan led with a 37 par at Sanctuary Lake. Taylor Hefty had a 46; Anna Gray, 48; and Erin Gray, 53.

They lost to Stoney Creek, 170-194 at Oakhurst.

Pan had a 43 par; Erin Gray, 48; Hefty, 51; and Paige Olsen, 52.

Clarkston finished in third place in the OAA White tennis tournament on Thursday.

They scored 36 points, placing them behind Stoney Creek and Bloomfield Hills Lahser.

J.P. Budzinski finished in first for Singles #4 after defeating Stoney Creek's Chris Stanburg.

For doubles Jordan Kincaid and Kevin Wieryszko finished in second in the #1 Doubles flight.

Clarkston finished in fourth place in the league.

They head into Regional playoffs this week.
