October 06, 2010 - The Oxford Fire Department hosted its annual open house Sunday afternoon to kick off National Fire Prevention Week, which runs from Oct. 3-9.
Parents and kids got to spray water from a genuine fire hose, learn fire safety tips, climb all over the shiny red trucks and eat fresh-grilled hot dogs.
Nobody walked away without a smile – and a little plastic fire hat.
