Orion Art Center looking for new members

November 03, 2010 - The Orion Art Center invites community members to join the OAC as it embarks on its 32nd year of service to the north Oakland county area.

The non profit organization holds true to the mission of bringing all forms of art to the community with art exhibits, classes for children and adults, summer arts camps, special student shows and competitions, demonstrations, musical performance, exchange band hosting, special events and the Dragon on the Lake community festival.

Tax deductible membership contribution will strengthen the organization and allow it to continue to offer quality services and expand on cultural offerings, said OAC Director Reggie Harrison.

Many benefits that come along with membership, including discounts on classes and gallery shop items, an all-member, all-media show slated for January 2011, discounts on entry fees for special events and shows and the opportunity to sell items at the upcoming holiday market.

Support is needed to help drive the vision of a culturally rich community. Community members, artists, businesses and art enthusiasts are encouraged to become members and play a key role in enriching our community with art.

Membership levels include student/senior $15, individual $35, family $50 and supporting $100.

Join today by sending your check payable to Orion Art Center to PO Box 674, Lake Orion, MI 48361.
