November 03, 2010 - Since 1919 someone has been cutting hair downtown at 10233 Hegel Road.

"I've kept the same traditions as Ken's Barber Shop and made some upgrades, too, including a new floor and bathroom. The people have been great here—it's amazing we get customers here from Davison, Grand Blanc, and Lapeer in addition to Goodrich and Ortonville."

Hagenbuch, a 1994 graduate of the Flint Institute of Barbering, has been cutting hair for the past 16 years He began helping Ken out in Goodrich as an apprentice about two years ago.

"Dad moved me in the right direction," said Scott Hagenbuch, who is married to Goodrich native Amy (Mullendore). They have three children, Brandon, 19, Jarrid, 18 and Taylor, 14.
