Village DPW better in winter

November 17, 2010 - Dear Editor,
I live in Atlas Township, not far from the village limits of Goodrich. I do have to compliment the village DPW on the job they do. I live on East Hegel Road and there is a night and day difference in the road from county maintained to village. You can draw a line where the village takes over. It is always clear. Where as there have been times I have been snowed in for days here. But if I can make it as far as the village I know I can at least get to the store and gas.
I hope the people in the village appreciate how nice it is to have roads cleared in a timely manner.
