Holiday Fun at Independence

December 22, 2010 - 'Twas the day before break and all through Independence Elementary, students were laughing and having a jolly good time.
In each classroom, they were eating, creating and making a rhyme.
The fourth and fifth graders were busy down their halls - racing, giggling and having a ball.
But soon it was time to leave, filled with food and merriment in all.
The students exclaimed as they went out of sight, Happy Holidays to all and jokingly added because they are so bright, see you next year .
